I am very pleased with the way I have been treated at Smileywood dental. They have been extremely kind and patient with me. I am aware that I can be difficult to work with at times due to my anxiety , ( I wish I wasn’t like that). I can be very apprehensive and I get really nervous when I go to the dentist but Dr. Consuela is very gentle and caring. I also have no complaints about the staff. Everyone there truly cares about the patients well being. The dental assistant is also very patient and her presence is welcoming. The work that I’ve had done there has turned out excellent. I am grateful for this place. I recommend this place and people should not hesitate to make an appointment, you won’t regret it.👍

Dr. Zau is the the best! My previous dentist had done a poor job replacing some fillings (that I’m pretty sure didn’t need replacing). Dr. Zau fixed the issue in a single visit. She also didn’t recommend expensive treatments that weren’t necessary. So rare to find a dentist like her these days.

Wow! Dr. Zau is SO thorough & honest! If you really want a dentist who genuinely cares about you & your needs, she is it! She is so nice & down to earth. I’m so scared of the dentist & do not like going at all. She takes her time & doesn’t make me feel like I’m just another patient to hurry & get done with. Love love loved coming here. I recently switched my dentist to Dr. Zau and I loved her and her staff. They were able to get me in asap for a root canal. They explained what my benefits covered and were thorough in explaining my benefits as well. (Which other dentists have not) Premises are very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. Glad I made the switch to her office! Definitely recommend!

Doctor Zau did the most Amazing Job I Needed So Much Work When I Went in She Made Me Feel Comfortable, Safe, And Explained to Me All the Details of Every Procedure As well As Every Transaction She Was So Informative I Really Wouldn't Consider Going to Another Dentist As Long As I'm in California Not To Mention Im super O.C.D. Dr. Zau, Carmen, and Jorge are a great team! I visited the office today for a cleaning and because of concerns about sensitivity following a recent crown replacement and fillings I had done by another dentist. I felt very welcomed and that my concerns were addressed. Dr. Vau polished my crown to better align my bite. The cleaning was smooth as well. Both Carmen and Jorge were very kind and conversational. Highly recommend!

Dr. Zau and her team are incredibly kind, skilled, and compassionate. They’ve been helping me get my teeth fixed over the course of this past year, after not seeing a dentist for a decade due to some really terrible experiences. The office/reception staff is knowledgeable, works with your insurance, and has helped me figure out ways to afford the dental care I need. Dr. Zau listens to her patients needs, and is considerate and gentle with those who are afraid. I’ll be moving out of state soon and am going to miss everyone here so much, thank you all for your amazing work! Couldn’t recommend a better primary dentist in the Hollywood area truly.

I avoided the dentist for a long time because of fear of pain from a bad experience. I literally got panic attacks sitting in the dental chair. I came across Smileywood in passing and I am so happy I did. Doctor is great! She is so caring and passionate about her patients. She made me feel safe and when it came time to needles, I didn’t feel a thing. You will not regret it.

Dr. Zau is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. From the moment you get to Smileywood the receptionist is amazing and goes over everything with you in detail, clearly explains procedures, and works with your insurance, and they are not pushy whatsoever. Dr. Zau is so friendly, knowledgable, and patient, and I have had the most pain free experiences each time I go. Could not recommend more!

Dr. Zau is an artist. I was so insecure about smiling and now I feel confident in giving the widest smile. She did what other dentists couldn’t do. Her and her office staff are so knowledgeable, patient and kind. In 32 years of living on both coasts and different countries I can say, sincerely, that Dr. Zau and her staff are the ABSOLUTE BEST. I cannot thank you all enough!!

I went here today for the first time. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the dentist. Too long. I had a lot of anxiety about it. The dentist and hygienist were so kind and patient with me. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time and not once made me feel guilty for avoiding the dentist for as long as I have. I highly recommend this office if you have any fear of the dentist. I’ve never felt so comfortable.

Dr. Zau & her entire team were amazing! From the minute I stepped into their office, I felt extremely welcomed by staff. Everyone was super friendly & knowledgeable. WOW this practice was amazing! For someone who has worked in medical I was so impressed. The staff was extremely kind, I was given a thorough breakdown of pricing with my insurance, and I felt very taken care of. Cannot recommend this place and Dr Zau enough! 10/10

I had a wonderful experience at Smileywood. Dr. Consuela and her assistants were lovely, very caring and attentive to me. I fully recommend Dr. Consuela to everyone in the area.

Best dentist I've ever had...she is smart, gentle, incredibly patient and caring. (I agree with previous reviewer who said she is also funny!) So good, that during open enrollment this year, I opted for a different insurance plan so I could follow her to her to her new Hollywood office...Best decision ever..a bit further from my house but I never want any other dentist and she is worth the drive! After a lifetime of me dealing with gum disease and ongoing dental issues, Dr. Consuela helped me (58 yr old woman) deal with tooth loss and dentures and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible treatment and experience. Her office people/assistants, especially Lorena and Anthony, are also wonderful. She also uses a very hardworking tech named Jose who does great work! Just a really classy operation all around; only regret not finding her sooner! HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! Y SE HABLA ESPAGNOL TAMBIEN..

The dentist is professional, honest, goes over every angle of your mouth with you & is a comedian. Lol The front desk assistant is genuine with every response, pretty & professional as well. I appreciate Smileywood Dental.

I have been coming to Dr. Zau for a year now and can now say I've found my forever dentist! Dr. Zau is very caring and skilled, her support team is wonderful as well. They are always able to accommodate my hectic schedule and every visit is efficient and thorough - best of all, there are never any surprise/additional services proposed during routine check-ups, something I hated from my previous larger dental office because they always tried to increase my dental bill.

Dr Zau and Tony are truly the best team our dental visit was delightful would definitely recommend this off. Smileywood is Fist class in clinical care and the doctor work is on point 100% form top to bottom!! Bring the whole family…!!!!!!

I have been looking for a permanent dental office since I moved to LA and I’ve finally found it! I was extremely nervous getting my wisdom teeth removed but Tony, Lorena and Dr. Zau assured me that i didn’t need to be & they were right! The process was super quick & painless! Tony was great and gave me an emergency appointment to see the doctor same day turns out I had a very bad cavity that they were able to take care of that afternoon which I'm very grateful for I definitely will be coming back for follow up

Anyone looking for a new dentist in Silverlake (or even anywhere else in the LA area) - do yourself a favor and make this your new dentist! The staff are VERY professional and kind. They are very clear on pricing and what your insurance covers, so there are no surprises or hidden fees. I was in need of a new dentist and had very bad anxiety coming in. They walked me through the entire process and did everything they could to help me feel at ease. I walked out feeling great and I am glad I made the decision to come here.

I love Dr. Zau and the folks at Smileywood! They're upfront about the costs and what insurance will and will not cover -- they'll even call you later on when your insurance decides to cover something they previously didn't. They're attentive and friendly and will take great care of your teeth and gums.

Had to get 3 resin fillings, including for my front teeth, and the process was incredibly smooth and painless! Dr. Zau and her office were very helpful and transparent with costs and the payment process as well. Very professional and great service!

Best dental experience I've ever had holy s*** this made me feel sooo much more willing to remember to come to the dentist twice a year (which is what youre supposed to do). I usually go once a year or once every other year because I forget or procrastinate; although, NOT ANYMORE! I wanted to leave a review on yelp or google or something because they just opened in 2019 and don't have a lot of patients yet, but they totally deserve to be booked up. Front desk amazing! I even showed up late they still got me in right away no wait! Then in the dental room I was practically pampered felt like I was at the spa! dam I can't wait to come back

This was by far the best dental experience I've had! Each person that I interacted with at the office was caring and friendly. The doctor, the hygienist, and the woman who took my xrays were very considerate of my comfort and clearly explained each part of the process and the results of my examination. For some reason I've always felt suspicious going to the dentist, sort of like taking my car to dealer for routine inspection, but this time was totally different. My experience with Smileywood Dental felt like a true healthcare appointment by professionals that I can trust.

Dr. Consuela work is just amazing in every aspect. The Office staff are very friendly and make you feel like home, the space is clean and their infection control protocol meets the highest standard, trust me I know. Dr. Consuela is so sweet and goes above and beyond. I, like a lot of other people have major reservations going to the dentist due to past experiences. Recently I've had to have a tooth removed and she was so helpful, and continues to be helpful in this process. The whole staff is so kind, and the location is brilliant. To have a female dentist who gives quality care is invaluable. Highly recommend!

Dr. Consuela is super kind and she really took care of me and my teeth. She was very careful when she did my deep cleaning and she also found a cavity under one of my old dental fillings...! So she got rid of the amalgam first, then got rid of the decay, and now I have the most beautiful white filling on one of my ultra cleaned teeth!
